Selection will be at the GS-1101-09 Purchase Card Program Coordinator, noncompetitive promotion potential to target grade GS-1101-11 Program Coordinator (Government Purchase Card)(GPC) which will include meeting additional requirements listed under other requirements section of this announcement, At the full performance GS11 position.

About the Position:
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Presidio of Monterey mission is to provide customers with responsive, appropriate, and professional advice and contracting support. To execute contracts through knowledgeable business decisions and within compliance of Federal Acquisition Regulations, resulting in timely delivery of products and services offering the best overall value to the customers. MICC is located in Seaside, CA on the Former Fort Ord military installation now called the Ord Military Community.  OTHER ADVANTAGES: Selective base housing may be available for civilians to rent. Duties

  • Serve as an Agency/Organization Program Coordinator (A/OPC) for the Government Purchase Card (GPC) Program
  • Establish, maintain and terminate accounts
  • Provide technical direction and general contracting procedures as applied to use of the GPC
  • Resolve issue and disputes
  • Develop and coordinate new local policies and procedure regarding the GPC Program
  • Prepare GPC program guidelines, status reports and briefings
  • Coordinate in developing contracting policies and solving contracting problems
  • Direct remedial training
