About the Position:
Serves as a Contracting Specialist for the 410th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional Contracting Office, (RCO) Miami, responsible for performing pre and post award functions for procurement involving supplies and services.

Duties

You will be responsible for planning and developing the overall approach to meet contracting program goals for procuring a variety of requirements. You will analyze difficult contracting issues and determines recommended course of action which may depart from previous approaches. Determines appropriate method of procurement using a wide range of contracting methods and contract types. You will prepare/oversee the preparation of final contract to include appropriate standard clauses and provisions. You will execute post award contract performance management actions on a variety of contracts.

The most desired candidate will possess knowledge of Procurement Desktop Defense, Virtual Contracting Enterprise and Paperless Contract File, will be able to adapt to an ever changing environment and will be able to think outside the box while applying critical thinking techniques.
