About the Position: The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This position is located at the Army Contracting Command in Adelphi, Maryland which is in Prince Georges County, a metropolitan area, bordered to the south by Washington DC and to the north by Baltimore. It is approximately 30 miles south of Baltimore and the White Marsh area, and 10 miles north of Washington, DC. The Army Contracting Command has a large presence at APG, MD with contracting offices around the country including Adelphi, MD; Natick, MA; Frederick, MD; Research Triangle Park, NC; Fort Belvoir, VA; Orlando, FL; Ft. Huachuca, AZ, and White Sands Missile Range, NM.

In this position you will serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist in the Army Contracting Command. You will manage subordinates (supervisors and employees), directing the work of the unit. You will supervise the planning, development and establishment of the contractual strategy for the overall acquisition program. You will guide the full range of contract administration actions required for the acquisition program. You will oversee negotiation and contract actions, cost and price analysis, and contract administration. You will attend high-level staff meetings/teleconferences, and serve on special project teams. Serve as an advisor to program officials. Brief high-level members on acquisition programs.

Travel Required

25% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position.
