This position is located on Yongsan Garrison in Seoul, assigned to USFK, ACofS, J-4. Yongsan is the headquarters for U.S. Forces Korea, 8th U.S. Army, and Installation Management Command-Korea. Seoul is a vibrant capital city of over 10 million people with museums, traditional markets, and modern shopping districts. However, the position is scheduled to be relocated to USAG Humphreys, Korea within the next 2 years as a result of the Yongsan Relocation Plan. Relocation costs will be paid in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations for employees directed to relocate to the Pyeongtaek area.
USAG Humphreys is located in Pyeongtaek City in the Republic of Korea, about an hour and a half south of Seoul and 40 minutes south of Osan Air Base. The Camp Humphreys Exchange, Commissary, Food Court and Restaurants offer typical American amenities. Housing is available in Pyongtaek City as well as in the area surrounding Osan Air Base.
